Dry Cargo chartering is a varied market worldwide which requires extensive knowledge of the various commodities, how they are transported, and the loaded/discharged terms including safe handling of these commodities onboard the required and acceptable vessels.

The dry cargo market relies on a wide range of vessel types for carriage of the cargoes and the correct stowage of each type of product.  For 40 years (or more) Sonchia Chartering has specialized in the carriage of bulk grains like wheat, rice, corn, barley malt and DDGS products. Sonchia Chartering has also arranged carriage of commodities like cotton in bales, lumber in bundles, project cargoes and other breakbulk commodities.
