Since 2008, Sonchia Chartering Company has been asked by clients to establish and operate various trans-loading facilities for unloading rail road hopper cargo (or trucks) and reloading of ocean steamship containers.

These trans-loading operations arranged about 4000 container per year per facility for grain, fertilizer and animal feed for our worldwide clients.

Therefore if clients require bulk shipment that are slightly too small for bulk in to vessels or if buyers require more frequent cargo delivers in smaller sizes, this can be arranged cost effectively by Sonchia Chartering via unloading rail road cars (or trucks) and reloading ocean containers.
